Mark Carbeau

Mark Carbeau

President and CEO

A life sciences executive with a successful track record driving growth by building patient-focused companies, Mark joined PolyRemedy® in January 2010. He was previously President and CEO of HyperMed, Inc., a commercial stage start-up medical device company dedicated to improving the diagnosis and associated outcomes of advanced vascular interventions using novel hyperspectrial imaging technology. Most relevant to PolyRemedy, Mark was President USA of Kinetic Concepts Inc. (NYSE: KCI), a leading global medical technology company in advanced wound care whose breakthrough technology has enabled clinicians to improve the lives of over 1 million patients.  At KCI, he reinvigorated the business by growing revenues from $650 million to $950 million and expanding company profits by 62 percent over 20 months.

As VP Corporate Development for OraPharma, Inc., a drug-device combination therapy to treat periodontal disease, he co-led a successful IPO and eventual sale to Johnson & Johnson.  Mark also served in various sales, marketing and manufacturing roles with Eli Lilly and Company and was a member of The Boston Consulting Group for six years.

Mark holds a MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University.



Diane M. Cooper

Diane M. Cooper, PhD, FAAN

Medical Director and Chief of Clinical Affairs

Diane is a recognized expert in tissue repair. Since her arrival to the PolyRemedy team in 2007, Diane's extensive experience in clinical practice, academia, and industry has been invaluable in creating a high-impact, practical solution for healing chronic wounds. She has led engagement of our clinical study stakeholders in the rigorous testing of our integrated wound care management system.

Diane is a committed advocate for the introduction of a scientific basis for wound treatment a passion that she traces to her work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Wound Care at the University of California at San Francisco. Her belief in the potential for clinicians to improve outcomes for chronic wound patients led her to pursue a doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Nurse Scholar post-doctoral fellowship.

Diane was an active collaborator in the early clinical studies of recombinant growth factors for use in healing wounds, and she was invited by Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals to assist with the launch of the first recombinant growth factor approved for diabetic foot ulcers. Following several years at Human Genome Sciences, Diane returned to Johnson & Johnson as Worldwide Medical Director for Tissue Repair at Ethicon, Inc. Since then, Diane has contributed to the literature, lectured internationally, and continued to oversee clinical research of wound care innovations. She became a charter member of the Wound Healing Society in 1990 and has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing since 1995.

Cameron McKennitt

Chief Commercial Officer

As Chief Commercial Officer, Cameron leads the sales and marketing of our pioneering, cost-effective wound care solutions.

Cameron arrived at PolyRemedy in 2011 after five years at Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE: KCI), a global leader in advanced wound care, where he held Vice President roles of increased responsibility in Commercial Operations, National Accounts, Managed Care, and Government. As part of a US leadership team that expanded the business from $650 million to $1.05 billion, he directed sales force structure and expansion; pricing and customer program development; GPO, MCO and Government contract negotiation and execution; and sales training, systems and compensation. Cameron also led collaborations with physicians and administrators to help federal policymakers make educated decisions on laws affecting treatment options for Medicare and Medicaid patients with serious acute and chronic wounds.

Prior to KCI, Cameron worked in corporate strategy consulting, where he assisted management teams and private equity investors in developing growth and go-to-market strategies and in evaluating potential acquisitions. His client engagements included work for companies in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and home healthcare services industries. In addition, he served as Vice President, Strategic Planning for United Stationers (NASDAQ: USTR), a Fortune 500 business products distributor.

Cameron holds an AB degree in Economics from Dartmouth College.


David A. Richard

David A. Richard

Sr. Vice President of Operations

David joins PolyRemedy with more than 20 years of senior engineering and operations management experience in the medical device and automotive industries. He has held senior line management positions with Trident Dental Laboratories, Plastec Inc., VTEC, Eye Technologies and IOLAB. David holds nine domestic and international patents spanning medical device, automotive, electronic, and optical modalities. He brings a strong operations acumen as well as a mix of post graduate theoretical and practical mechanical and materials engineering. His engaging management style will be used to support the commercialization of PolyRemedy's Personalized Woundcare System. David has been involved in medical device enterprise start-up, turn-a-round and scale up endeavors where he skillfully drove a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, efficiency, cost effectiveness, quality, and shareholder reward. David holds a BSME from The University of New Haven and a MSME in materials science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.


Jeffrey Tingle

Jeffrey Tingle

Vice President of Software Development

An innovative, experienced software development leader in the healthcare and life sciences sectors, Jeff joined PolyRemedy in September, 2010. He was previously Director of Software Development at the Risk Management Foundation of the Harvard Medical Institutions, where he assembled a global team to develop and deploy a new generation of tools for reducing medical errors by identifying medical malpractice trends and assessing clinical risk.

Jeff's interests and expertise have positioned him at the forefront of systems development in clinical medicine and drug discovery. At Rhode Island Hospital's Department of Radiation Oncology, he contributed to the first generation of radiation treatment planning tools with interactive 3D-graphics. At Polygen/Molecular Simulations, he participated in the first efforts to develop structure-based drug design tools for discovery scientists. Most recently, he has been immersed in the mobile health movement, developing disease and medication management "apps" to support the non-profit Partners In Health in providing high-quality medical care to some of the world's poorest places. As Vice President of Engineering and Professional Services at Advanced Visual Systems, Jeff operated a globally distributed software development effort to offer advanced data visualization capabilities to a client base that included Biogen/Idec, Syngenta and MSCI/Barra.

Jeff is an active member of HIMSS and has served on the Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) working group. He holds a BSc from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MSc from Brown University.
