PolyRemedy Expands Executive Leadership Team and Builds East Coast Presence Additions Bring Over 35 Years of Healthcare Software Development Experience

BOSTON, MA. – November 9, 2010

PolyRemedy, a provider of personalized wound care systems, today announced the addition of two healthcare information technology veterans to the executive leadership team. The company also announced the opening of a new office in Boston, MA.

Jeffrey Tingle has been appointed Vice President of Software Development. In his new role, he will lead the development of the software solutions infrastructure for PolyRemedy’s new generation of wound care management systems. Jeff was previously Director of Software Development at the Risk Management Foundation of the Harvard Medical Institutions, where he assembled a global team to develop and deploy a new generation of tools for reducing medical errors by identifying medical malpractice trends and assessing clinical risk. Jeff holds a BSc from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MSc from Brown University.

Also joining the executive team as Director of Product Management is Heath Umbach, who will be responsible for leading the design and marketing of the Company’s new generation of integrated products and services. Previously at WebMD (NYSE: WBMD), he helped lead the development and evolution of client-server, SaaS and Web-based hospital comparison tools. Most recently, Heath ran Product Marketing at PatientKeeper, Inc., a leading provider of connectivity, system integration, and physician workflow solutions. While at PatientKeeper, Heath was responsible for developing four physician workflow and information exchange applications, and later led product positioning and strategy for the company's full solution suite. He holds an MHA from The George Washington University and a BA in Psychology from The University of Virginia.

The two software veterans join life sciences executive Mark Carbeau, who was appointed President and CEO earlier this year. Mark was the former President USA of Kinetic Concepts Inc. (NYSE: KCI), a leading global medical technology company in advanced wound care.
