Your visiting nurse uses the PWS assessment tool to plan your personalized wound care treatment plan and order your custom-produced PolyFIT dressings.
We ship your customized PolyFIT dressings directly to your home so they are ready for your next dressing change. Each PolyFIT dressing arrives with your name and dressing change date on it.
Because your PolyFIT dressing is already personalized to fit your wound, application is easy and precise. Removal is also straightforward; PolyFIT dressings do not leave fibers or residue in the wound bed, which can occur with other dressings.
At each visit, your nurse uses PWS to track your changing wound size and condition and informs you, your other nurses, and, when needed, your referring physician of your healing progress. Each assessment prompts the delivery of new PolyFIT dressings that will arrive in time for your next change.
